Daytona Beach Reception Hall The Tavern and Chapel in the Garden is the premier Daytona Beach reception hall for your wedding day reception. The Tavern is a two story historic building with a dance floor, indoor and outdoor bar areas, and unique architecture that makes this building extraordinary. If you are searching for a Daytona Beach reception hall, the Tavern is a quaint location that will impress your guests and offer the perfect background for photo opportunities. The Tavern was originally built as a residence in the 1920's and for many years housed the "Pink House" antique store before it was purchased by the Clark Family in the 1980's. The building became part of the Clark estate when it was moved 100 feet to the east in 1996. Douglas Clark, with the help of Chuck Gittner, built the large southerly addition. Much of the extensive wood work was done by James "Bo" Alvis. Atlas Welding built the extensive wrought iron stairs and railings. The Tavern was opened in 2002 and serves as banquet and reception facility for the Chapel in the Gardens. Beverage and catering services are provided in-house, exclusively. The Tavern can accomodate up to 150 people with additional seating available on the covered outdoor patio. Click here to see our floor plan. The Tavern is available for corporate event, meetings, and banquets. See more information about our Corporate Event Space Rentals.
